The grant funding available is calculated based on Ofgem deemed savings scores, which may vary depending on the property type, size, fuel type and installation. Some heating fuel types may not be eligible for grant funding, and certain heating grants may require insulation works to be completed before access to funding is granted.

Qualifying criteria for private rented sector homes may also differ, and Local Authorities may contact residents to verify information provided for ECO Flex applications. The source of fuel savings is based on the Energy Saving Trust and may vary depending on the blended fuel type and deemed scores. The Warm Homes programme is part of FRT’s delivery programme for ECO, designed to help residents save money on their energy bills and reduce carbon emissions through energy efficiency improvements.

Please note that loft ventilation and walkways, if required, are not included in grant funding and will be charged separately. For heating grants, only boiler swaps are eligible, and full system replacements require further details. Inefficient boiler replacements require fixed insulation measures to be completed before access to ECO3 funding is granted.
